About Us
Todd Jones LicAc MAOM
My family has a rich history of service to the well-being and potential of the people of Springfield, where I was born and grew up and where I still reside and hold my practice. My interest in Chinese medicine grew from interactions with my late Uncle Gus, who traveled the world and shared with me books on Eastern philosophy and introduced me to Chinese herbs. Caring for life is a fundamental tenet of my family’s core conviction.
I studied religion and Eastern philosophy at Vassar College, where I had the opportunity to study with Dr. Lawrence Mamiya, Constance Berkely, and Rick Jarow. During this time, I also gained authentic experience with Chinese herbal medicine while studying Shaolin Wushu in NYC.
I earned my Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) and continued my studies at the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Nanjing University in Nanjing, China.
I was honored to be awarded the high distinction of Compassionate Healer at NESA, a recognition I hold dear as it reflects my dedication to healing and care.

Approach
The work itself is its own reward. Traditional Chinese Medicine has been in practice for thousands of years, incorporating the wisdom and experiences of many of the greatest minds and most dedicated practitioners. This vast knowledge is inexhaustible, and I am continually challenged and always learning.
I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in my patients' healing journeys in a way that is in harmony with the natural world we are a part of, bearing in mind the importance of family, community, economy, and environment in the healing of an individual.
